Pookie did get a lot of tools for Christmas, and he really wants to build some things. He can't really build a cool tree house at the moment, but I did find something that he can build...

What's Cooking Friday
Alpha (AKA Pookie) informed me at the end of 2012 that he wanted to live 1 year "Biblicly" with no processed food. Nothing that we have not made at home. No pork, shellfish, or fish without scales So, together, he and I have embarked on this journey. While it has not been hard at all, the rest of the family does not like it one bit. The hardest part is cooking dinners for the WHOLE family.
Today, we are having gyros with homemade pita (recipe found here) .
The only thing that I am doing differently is that I will use a combination of spelt and millet flours. Will let you know how it turns out.

Bob the Builder...
OK, it is really Pookie the Builder, but it does not have the same ring to it. Pookie got tools for Christmas and his birthday. He is now in the building mood. Personally, I think he should build one of these for our back yard.

Shut the Front Door
I really do need a new front door.
I, sadly, know that my house is not designed to have one like those.
So, I will have to settle for one like this
Now, I wonder if I can talk Hubby into letting me have it PINK???
Side Note: I tried to link the pics to the sites from Pinterest. Not sure if it worked, but I found them all on Pinterest.

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday to my Alpha. He is the beginning of the journey that is my life. I had him when I was very young. I, barely, remember a time when he was not around. He is a big part of what shaped me into being the person I am.
I am so proud of him. Today, his birthday, is the start of a new path in life for him.
I am not sure where his musical talent comes from, but I know it is not from me!
Happy Birthday Pookie. I love you. I am proud to be the one you call "MOM"!

What's Cooking Friday
"What's cooking this Friday?" You ask. NOTHING is my answer. Fanny and HailNo are gone for the weekend. Pookie has to work on his Eagle Project, so he and Daddio will be gone for the most part. So, this Friday and weekend will consist of me and the 3 youngest boys. Cole has Autism. His diet is very limited. WillieP will eat anything, and EAM eats pretty much nothing. I think I am just going to order pizza.
